Clinical Research Fellow
I am a clinical research fellow working on tuberculosis vaccine platforms in Professor McShane's Group. I am an Infectious Diseases/GIM Specialist Registrar and NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow working in the Thames Deanery. I have a particular interest in Tuberculosis and Tropical Medicine, and have completed the DTMH and an MSc at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
I completed my medical training at the University of Cambridge and University College London, and have worked as a doctor in London, Glasgow and Oxford. I have conducted research in Tuberculosis, HIV, COVID-19 and enteral parasites both in the UK and Malawi.
In the McShane group I work on the design and clinical care of experimental medical BCG Challenge trials. While working here I have also been completing a Certificate of Health Research at the University of Oxford department of Continuing Education.
