I am a clinical research fellow working on BCG challenge clinical trials under Professor Helen McShane.
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2015 with an MBChB and BSc in Epidemiology. I completed Foundation training in Wessex deanery and Core Medical training in Thames Valley Deanery, where I also have my specialty training number for Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
I have previously worked as a research fellow in St George’s University London in 2020 working with Professor Paul Heath and Dr Catherine Cosgrove on COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials, including the phase 3 trials for ChAdOx1-s/nCoV-19 and Novavax and phase 1 trial for Covac. I have subsequently conducted further research in diagnostic modelling for COVID-19 by reported symptoms.
