Senior Scientist

Master's Degree, Pierre et Marie Curie University (Paris)

I earn a Master degree from Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris. Following my studies, I embarked on a successful career in the upstream sector of the industry.

Building Expertise in Gene Therapy at Oxford Biomedica

I began at Oxford Biomedica. I played a crucial role in lentivirus production for CAR-T gene therapy, gaining invaluable experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This experience laid the foundation for my future success.

Deepening Knowledge in Cell Therapy at Adaptimmune

My thirst for knowledge led me to Adaptimmune. Here, I expanded my expertise by working on both autologous and allogeneic processes, deepening my understanding of stem cell and T-cell production. This broadened my skillset and made me a valuable asset in the field of cell therapy.

Driving Innovation in Exosome Production at Evox Therapeutics

I leveraged my extensive experience at Evox Therapeutics. By applying my accumulated knowledge, I have successfully achieved a remarkable 5-fold improvement in exosome production yield. This accomplishment demonstrates my dedication to innovation and my ability to make a significant impact in the biotechnology industry.

Thrilled to join Dr. Sandy Douglas' group at the Jenner Institute!

I am excited to contribute to the development of a perfusion system for improved adenovirus production. This project aligns perfectly with my interest in optimizing downstream processes.

Leveraging VaxHub for Sustainable Manufacturing

The VaxHub platform provides a unique opportunity to apply my skills towards achieving sustainable manufacturing practices. This includes minimizing waste, reducing energy consumption, and lowering water usage, ultimately contributing to a more environmentally friendly production process.

Enhancing Cell Line and Process Efficiency

My focus will be on modifying cell lines to increase both cell specific and volumetric productivity. Additionally, I will explore implementing high cell density cryopreservation to decrease the time between vial thaw and lentivirus bioreactor productivity.

Optimizing Perfusion and Streamlining Downstream Processing

While perfusion processes offer advantages, they can reach limitations in downstream purification. To address this, I will be investigating the development of a simplified fed-batch process for improved efficiency.
