Research Assistant

Vaishnav Pavan Kumar Achalla is a Research Assistant at the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford, specializing in protein purification for malaria vaccine development. Working under the guidance of Professor Sumi Biswas, his research focuses on designing, expressing, and purifying protein constructs to develop next-generation malaria transmission-blocking vaccines. Achalla holds Master of Research degree in Pharmaceutical Research from University College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from BITS Pilani. He brings a robust background in recombinant protein production, bioinformatics, and data analysis, contributing to the advancement of innovative malaria vaccine strategies at the Jenner Institute.
