Arianna De Chiara
Post-doctoral Research Assistant
Dr. Arianna De Chiara is a PhD-trained molecular biologist with a strong focus on mRNA vaccine delivery and genetic adjuvants. She earned her doctorate in Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology from the University of Naples Federico II, where she developed and evaluated novel mRNA vaccine platforms designed to enhance immune responses through innovative delivery systems and adjuvant strategies. As part of her training, she carried out a visiting period at Toscana Life Sciences (TLS) in Siena, where she worked on lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems, and later gained experience in Oxford performing in vivo immunological studies in mice.
She joined the Jenner Institute at the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant. Her current work is dedicated to the design of next-generation mRNA vaccines for HPV, combining molecular engineering of vaccine constructs with comprehensive immunological characterization. Her research interests lie in infectious disease immunology, T-cell and antibody-mediated immunity, and translational vaccine development, driven by a passion for bridging fundamental discoveries with clinical application.
