In an age of rapid information (and misinformation), public engagement with science is more important than ever. Jenner Institute staff and PhD students talked about their work at an science pop up in Swindon during half term.

Whether discussing vaccines, education, or research breakthroughs, connecting with communities outside the lab or classroom builds trust, fosters understanding, and encourages informed decision-making. It’s about listening, learning, and making science accessible & helps inspire our next generation of scientists!

Here are some of the Jenner Institute staff and PhD students engaging with a science pop up in Swindon during half term. They were alongside representatives from UCL, the NHS, and other institutes within University of Oxford
