Weng is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in structural vaccinology. His current research focuses on the structural investigation of viral-host cell interactions mediated by the rabies virus glycoprotein. Weng’s interest includes characterisation of biomedically important emerging viruses for which there are no or limited treatments and which are often underrepresented in academic and pharmaceutical interest.
