Lucy Denly

DPhil Student

I am undertaking a DPhil investigating the non-specific effects of the BCG vaccine as part of the TB group. I am particularly interested in the epigenetic changes induced by BCG leading to the phenomena of ‘trained immunity’. I am investigating different routes of BCG administration, including intradermal, aerosol, and intravesical (as  carried out in the treatment of bladder cancer). Prior to this I was training as a medical student at Oxford University Medical School.
