I am a Clinical Research Fellow with an interest in infectious diseases research. My DPhil was based at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics in Oxford where I studied disease heterogeneity in intensive care patients with sepsis due to community-acquired pneumonia using genomic techniques. My current work involves working on malaria transmission blocking vaccine clinical trials at the Jenner in Sumi Biswas' group. I am a senior specialty training registrar in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia based within the Oxford Deanery.
