I am a DPhil student, working under the supervision of Prof Simon Draper at the Jenner Institute and Prof Matt Higgins from the Department of Biochemistry. My research focuses on the development and delivery of novel biologics that block red blood cell invasion by the human malaria parasite.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry followed by a Masters degree in molecular microbiology at the University of Bath. After my studies I worked for a leading gene and cell therapy company in Oxfordshire developing lentiviral vector packaging & producer cell lines.
