Baktash Khozoee

Clinical Research Fellow

I am a clinical research fellow at the Jenner Institute working as part of the blood-stage malaria vaccine programme, supervised by Dr Angela Minassian and Prof Simon Draper. In my current role, I also work with the COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial under Prof Andrew Pollard at the Oxford Vaccine Group.

Since graduating from medical school I have undertaken a PgCert in Clinical Education (Edin), DTM&H and MSc in Tropical Medicine and International Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have recently completed my core medical training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and aim to pursue a clinical and academic career in infectious diseases.
