After spending 5 years working as an animal technician, I started working at the Jenner Institute in 2020 as the insectary technician. My role is to ensure a smooth day to day running of the Jenner insectary. As well as this, I also assist with the pre-clinical development of vaccines.
During 2020 I was involved in the COVID-19 vaccine trials, where I was part of the team responsible for receiving and logging samples coming into the Jenner.
